Passkeys and two-step sign-in

Add a passkey

1. On civilstamp.com, open Settings, then Signing in. On the phone, open Settings, then Account.
2. Choose Create a passkey and follow what your browser or phone asks.
3. Next time, pick the passkey when you tap the email field.

Turn on two-step sign-in

1. On civilstamp.com, open Settings, then Signing in. Under Two-step sign-in, click Turn on.
2. Scan the QR code with the iPhone's Passwords app or any authenticator app.
3. Enter the 6-digit code it shows.

From then on, each new browser or phone asks for the code after you sign in. You can turn two-step on or off only on the website.

Keep the codes somewhere you won't lose with your phone, such as a password manager that syncs. If you lose them, see A lost or stolen phone.
