The Certificate of service

Reports from a sheriff's or marshal's office close with a Certificate instead of the perjury declaration:

I certify that this report is true and correct, and that I made the visits it describes as part of my official duties.

Then the date, the signature and the deputy's name, title, ID number and agency. Each deputy's rank or job goes in their title, and the photo stamp reads it with their ID number, like "Deputy Sheriff · ID 4471".

Admin, Office and Server

• Admin: the sergeant and a backup. Everything, including the team and billing.
• Office: civil clerks. Every case, plus adding servers.
• Server: deputies and civil technicians. Only the cases assigned to them, in the CivilStamp app from the App Store.

Rotation

When a deputy rotates out, remove them on Team and pick who takes their open cases. Their visits stay with the office. When they rotate back, add them again on Team with Add a person. They join with the new code and see their earlier visits again.

Paying

Your office pays one agreed price, monthly or yearly.

• By county card, through Stripe.
• By invoice: Stripe emails each bill with a page to pay it by card or bank transfer. The fiscal office pays there, with no CivilStamp account.

CJIS

CivilStamp holds civil process work: papers, addresses, visits and photos. It isn't built for CJIS, so don't put CLETS or NCIC results, criminal history or other criminal-justice information in it.

We look at your cases only when your office asks us to help.
