Join with a code

On your phone

1. Install CivilStamp from the App Store.
2. Tap the link in the email. It opens CivilStamp with the code filled in. Or open CivilStamp, tap Sign in to your agency, then Enter code, and type the code.
3. CivilStamp shows the agency and your role, like "Process-serving company · You join as Server".
4. Tap Sign in to join and continue with Apple, Google or your email. CivilStamp joins you as soon as you're signed in. If you're signed in already, tap Join and your agency's name, like Join North Valley Process.
5. CivilStamp says "You're in North Valley Process as Server." and your agency's cases come to your phone.

On a computer

Admins and office staff can join on civilstamp.com: open the link, click Sign in to join and sign in. CivilStamp joins you and opens Today.

Servers use the CivilStamp app. On a computer, the link shows the code to enter in the app.

Already in an agency

If you're signed in, the code adds the new agency to your account. You don't get a second account. You can also open Account and choose Join another agency with a code.

One account can't be in both a process-serving company and a sheriff's or marshal's office. For the other kind, sign in with a different email.

The code

• A code works once, for 7 days. The email says until when.
• Opening the link doesn't use up the code, so it still works after your email checks the link.
• The code only joins you to the agency. You sign in with Apple, Google or your email.
• If CivilStamp says the code has ended or was used, ask whoever sent it for a new one. An agency's first Admin gets theirs from CivilStamp: email [email protected].
