Download your records
Admins and office staff can download the agency's records as zip files: cases and visits as spreadsheets, with their photos, signed service records and invoices.
- On civilstamp.com, open Cases and click Export.
- Under Download records, choose Cases with visits between and pick two dates, or choose Cases I pick and tick the cases.
- Click Download records. Keep the page open while it shows its progress, like "Part 1 of 3 · 120 of 480 files".
- When it says "Downloaded 3 parts.", the zip files are in your downloads.
If some files couldn't be read, it says so, like "Couldn't get 2 files. They're listed in failed.txt." Click Try them again.
Parts
Each part holds up to 100 cases and 250 MB of files. It downloads as its own zip file, named like "North Valley Process-records-2026-10-04-part-1-of-3.zip".
What's inside
- README.txt, which says what the part holds.
- Spreadsheets (CSV files): cases, visits with their corrections, mailings and corrections. For a process-serving company, clients and invoices too.
- A folder for each case, with a folder for each visit: the stamped photo, the original photo the phone sealed, and visit.json, the visit's sealed record exactly as saved.
- Each case's signed service records, as PDF files.
- For a process-serving company, each invoice as a PDF file.
- failed.txt, only when something couldn't be read.
It's an export, not a backup: it can't be loaded back into CivilStamp. Your records stay in CivilStamp as they are.
