Correct a visit

A saved visit never changes. When one is wrong, the office adds a correction with the reason, and the case counts the visit the right way.

  1. On civilstamp.com, open the case with the visit.
  2. Open the visit's menu and click Correct this visit.
  3. Pick Entered in error, or pick Filed on the wrong case and find the right one under Case it belongs on.
  4. Under Why?, say what went wrong, like "Wrong house".
  5. Click Save correction.

Admins and office staff correct visits. Servers can't, so they ask the office.

Entered in error

The visit stays on its case with a line like "Entered in error: Wrong house (Dana Cruz, Oct 4, 2026)". It stops counting: the case's status, attempts, different days and times, Today, work lists, charges and the service record's summary and declaration leave it out.

Filed on the wrong case

The visit moves to the case it belongs on and counts there as that case's own visit. The right case shows a line like "Moved here from case 26CV004817: Wrong case (Dana Cruz, Oct 4, 2026)". The first case shows "Moved to case 26CV004920" with the same reason, and stops counting it.

Reports print corrected visits with their lines, and a Corrections note lists the visits that moved away. The server's phone still shows the visit under the first case, marked, but doesn't count it there.

Undo a correction

Open the visit's menu, click Undo correction and confirm. A moved visit goes back to the case it was filed on.

The visit itself

A correction is a note on the visit, with who made it and when. The visit's photos, time, place and notes stay exactly as the phone saved them. To remove a visit completely, email [email protected].
